// 01 QUICK START & MOUNTING

Up and running in four steps

Up and running in four steps

STEP_01

Snap-on latching

Align the mount rail with the BX-09 spine and press until the latch clicks. No tools, no adhesive.

STEP_02

USB-C power

Charge with any USB-C cable. A breathing white LED means charging; solid means full.

STEP_03

BLE pairing

Hold SYNC for 2s. The display finds your BX-09 automatically — no phone or app required.

STEP_04

Real-time RPM

Launch. Live RPM streams instantly, with the last 8 shots stored in on-device history.

Error codes & fixes

Error codes & fixes

Filtered live by the search bar above — try “BLE” or “FLASH”.

Display fails to pair with launcher

ERR_BLE_TIMEOUT

PROBABLE_CAUSE

BLE handshake exceeded 15s — launcher out of range, launcher battery low, or another device holds the connection.

STEP_BY_STEP_FIX

1. Power-cycle the BX.Display. 2. Close any Beyblade app holding the BLE link. 3. Hold the launcher within 30cm and re-pair. 4. If it persists, hold SYNC for 5s to clear the pairing cache.

LED_/_SCREEN_STATUS

LED blinks blue ×3, screen shows BLE SEARCHING

Firmware update fails mid-flash

ERR_FLASH_FAIL

PROBABLE_CAUSE

USB-C connection interrupted during write, or a low-quality charge-only cable was used.

STEP_BY_STEP_FIX

1. Use a data-capable USB-C cable. 2. Connect directly to the computer, not a hub. 3. Re-open the Web Flasher and retry — the bootloader is protected and cannot be bricked. 4. If the retry fails, hold BOOT while reconnecting.

LED_/_SCREEN_STATUS

LED solid red, screen shows FLASH ABORT 0x2E

RPM readout shows 0 or freezes

ERR_TELEMETRY_NULL

PROBABLE_CAUSE

Telemetry stream dropped — launcher moved out of range mid-session or launcher firmware is outdated (JP/HK versions differ).

STEP_BY_STEP_FIX

1. Keep the display within 5m of the launcher. 2. Verify the launcher is an authentic BX-09 (JP/HK). 3. Restart the session from the display menu. 4. Update BX.Display firmware to v1.0.4 or later.

LED_/_SCREEN_STATUS

Screen shows RPM --- with grey signal icon

Device not detected by Web Flasher

ERR_SERIAL_DENIED

PROBABLE_CAUSE

Browser lacks Web Serial support, or the serial port permission was dismissed.

STEP_BY_STEP_FIX

1. Use Chrome or Edge on desktop — Safari and Firefox do not support Web Serial. 2. Click CONNECT and select the BX.Display port in the browser prompt. 3. On Windows, install the CP210x driver if no port appears.

LED_/_SCREEN_STATUS

LED breathing white, screen shows USB IDLE

Display won’t power on

ERR_PWR_NONE

PROBABLE_CAUSE

Battery fully depleted, or the snap-on mount is not fully latched (power contact sits in the latch rail).

STEP_BY_STEP_FIX

1. Charge via USB-C for 15 minutes. 2. Remove and re-latch the mount until you hear a click. 3. Check the latch rail for debris. 4. If the LED still stays dark, contact support.

LED_/_SCREEN_STATUS

No LED, screen dark

Shot history missing entries

ERR_HIST_TRUNC

PROBABLE_CAUSE

The 8-shot buffer rolled over, or shots were fired during a BLE reconnect window.

STEP_BY_STEP_FIX

1. History stores the last 8 shots by design — export before long sessions. 2. Wait for the CONNECTED icon before launching. 3. Update to firmware v1.0.4 which shortens the reconnect window.

LED_/_SCREEN_STATUS

Screen shows HISTORY 6/8

// 04 WEB SERIAL FLASHER
